well, if i say about reading i guess there aren't much who read about "NArnia"


i'll change my question.....


Ever watch Narnia????


Guess a lot of you do....


well, it's a movie circling around four children (Peter, Edmund, who went into a fantasy kingdom named Narnia and helpm to restore peace to it with the help of Aslan, the lion who was the King of the Narnia.


as you guys watch the movie, you may found some of the background of the story is actually based on christianity, as you CAN't see, i dare say. this book is written by C.S.Lewis, which is known as a novelist by most of the readers. But as for me, i think you guys should had a close look on this novelist :

"In addition to his career as an English professor and an author of fiction, Lewis is regarded by many as one of the most influential Christian apologists of his time; Mere Christianity was voted best book of the twentieth century by Christianity Today in 2000. Due to Lewis's approach to religious belief as a skeptic, and his following conversion, he has been called "The Apostle to the Skeptics."

see?? he's not only a mere novelist, but he's also a christian!!

And 1 more thing that interest me the most is in a scene in the first movie : the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. In this scene, one of the kid, Edmund, indulged in darkness as he followed the white witch as her apprentice but soon he regretted it. but there's no backing out. So, in order to redeem Edmund back into the good side, Aslan suggest to trade his life for Edmund's, a life for aother life. Then, Aslan's killed and Edmund gained his freedom.

but he rosed again after 3 days.

you have to believe me in this, or you can go watch the movie yourself.

yes, the king, Aslan's dead but is alived again in 3 days.....

sounded familiar?? The story really happened in the history.

it happened 2000 years ago, when Jesus of Nazareth died on a crucifix for the sake of humanity and is rosen again after 3 days of his death???

now, you may ask :"why for humanity, what the heck had he done??"

okay, good question. i'll try to sound simple and conclude all this in 4 main points:

1. God loves the world and all the people living in it, that's you and me.
2. But people sinned. you can't denied that you sinned, or do bad stuffs (theoritically), remember, even sin like lying, envying, hate people is counted as sin.
3. God still loves you even you sinned. i'm serious and pefectly sure of that
4. God sent his son, Jesus to redeem you and me, life for a life.

so, the whole truth is like this, easy as that. i really hope you can understand this four whole point and remember it for the rest of your life.

Okay, now you maybe asking :" so what??"

Okay, Good question. how do you feel when someone whom you don't know helped you out from your trouble??? okay, imagine if you owe someone a big sum of money but someone else paid the debt for you. What do you feel?

Yes, you should feel grateful for what the person done for you.

what exactly had Jesus done for humanity. all i can say is, it's a painful death :



ouch.

so, be grateful and be thankful for what JEsus had done.
