With Love from Sabah.

Sabah is know as the Land Below the Wind, a phrase used by seafarers in the past to describe lands south to the typhoon belt. So We, a gang of 21 paid there a visit.

The swordfish monument at night

Well this is not something of significance (not that i know of), but it;s interesting to see such structure. A pipe clock tower

Our Host, who most of the time be our photographer.

Here she is (right in the middle), with us on Klias River Cruise.

Our tour Guide, Ah Lip

So In Klias you are expected to see proboscis monkeys, which basically looks like a man with Long long nose. That's why they earned the name "Orang Belanda" among the locals.

Meet the lizard!!
A bonus for the trip

We are also fascinated by the tarap fruit which can be only found in Sabah. A fruit look like Nangka, but has small fruits which sticks on a core. The fruit has less strong smell compare to cempedak or nangka but has the same taste.

Isit Allopatric speciation, we wondered.
It's Hilarious a bit when we seem to relate everything around us using stuffs we learn during A level course. Amazing. =)

Let's see what Mr Sean does with the core of the Tarap fruit....

Introducing Emcee Lai, the host for the travelling channel programme!!!

The statue of.... Sabah?? O.o

And we've met perhaps the biggest horseshoe crab in our life.
Turns out to be one of the most frightening experience for me, as my feet softens at the sight of him.
In the end, sadly i didn't get to take a pic with it.

Island Trip to Pulau Sapi

The ride got so bumpy that someone has to use an extra lifevest to cover her butt. XD

Enchanted view of Pulau Sapi

me off to snorkeling... B)

The rest of the Island trip was kinda hectic due to the downpour.
Imagine riding on a fast cruising banana boat with raindrops speeding towards you in the opposite direction.
Ouch.
That hurts.
